Protection that grows too - for continuous high quality
Proradix Plus contains the soil bacterium Pseudomonas sp. Proradix (DSMZ 13134), after application it populates the roots. The bacterium provides protection and an optimal water and nutrient uptake through various impact mechanisms.
Simultaneously, the bacteria multiply on the roots and grow with the new roots and tubers, so the protection is continued throughout the entire vegetation period. Resulting in high quality in the desired fraction.
Quality and yield increase thanks to various impact mechanisms
The Pseudomonas-Strain used in Proradix PLUS works as following:
- It activates the plant’s own resistance mechanism. (Resistance induction)
- It competes with soil-borne pathogens for root exudates and biosphere and comes through
- It produces a very potent iron-chelate (Siderophor)
- It reinforces the root’s cell wall
Thereby, a healthy and differentiated root system forms which helps the tubers grow consistently. The amount of too small, over large, tangled-up or hollow tubers is reduced - the fraction improved.
Can be applied anywhere - also in combination with chemical fungicides
Proradix PLUS can be used in water protection areas without worry and is also authorized for use in ecological cultivation.
Proradix PLUS is also suitable for integrated cultivation, because applying it together with other chemical fungicides (apart from products bearing copper and bactericide agents) causes no problems.
Proradix PLUS is available as a dry powder treatment in 5 kg and 3.3 kg-packages.
