Our roots lie in research.

As a medium sized biotechnology-company, together with their co-workers and partners, Sourcon Padena develop and produce biological plant strengtheners.

Today’s Sourcon Padena GmbH & Co. KG was founded from two private enterprises. Sourcon descends from the University of Tübingen and Padena from the University of Stuttgart-Hohenheim, Institute for Phytomedicine. Their merger in 1999 gave birth to the Sourcon Padena.

The head-office in the University town of Tübingen is the central point of our global network with development and distribution partners.

Developing new products excites us.

During the last years, the core of our team, all enthusiastic scientists, have collected valuable experience concerning biological plant protectors, especially bacterial antagonists. So our development know-how stands on solid ground and grows continually.

Our product-family members are all developed, produced and marketed by us. Thanks to the effective active components, the bacterium Pseudomonas sp. Proradix and Pseudomonas trivialis with their diverse application possibilities, our „Babies“ enjoy high market acceptance and are flourishing splendidly.

Our demand is a result-oriented and simultaneously caring use of nature.

Our natural and biological products protect the environment. The topic of residue problems doesn’t exist for the user. All our products can be used in water protection areas without worry. They are also authorized for organic cultivation. As mixing with chemical fungicides is not a problem they are also excellent for integrated cultivation.
